Nanny Interview

 

The thing to remember is that you need to put the nanny at ease.  You need to let her know that you are a good employer and will provide her with a wonerful place to live.  Remember she is also interviewing you.  Having said that here are the questions to ask:

1. Tell me something about your experience with childcare.

2. Do you think a baby should be carried around most of the time?

3. Why did you leave your last job?

4. Have you ever had to handle an emergency? If so, what happened and what action did you take?

5. How would you discipline a child?

6. How do you handle a crying baby?

7. When is it ok to spank a child?

8. What activities would you do to engage a (?) year old child?

9. What do you like to do in your free time?

10. Do you smoke or drink?

11. Do you take drugs?
